With inspiring design, high-quality brands and a unique “urban-only” concept, idd cologne sets an example for the future with its very first appearance in the heart of Cologne. As a new premium trade fair for exclusive furnishing solutions in the areas of residential, hospitality and contract business interiors, it brings the creative power of the industry into harmony with the pulse of the city. From October 26 to 29, 2025, be inspired and reshape the future of interior design.

As an innovative “urban-only” format, idd cologne brings high-quality interior design solutions to where people live, work, and create. In close cooperation with the Association of the German Furniture Industry (VDM) and leading industry partners, Cologne becomes a stage for premium design: authentic, approachable, and full of inspiration.

idd cologne: Exhibitor Locations

idd cologne opens up new possibilities for brand presentation: instead of traditional exhibition halls, companies showcase their offerings in selected locations across the city of Cologne. One of the main venues is Design Post Köln – a year-round showroom and new cooperation partner of Koelnmesse. On over 3,500 m², 35 renowned companies currently present their installations – an ideal environment to experience interior design at the highest level. The concept is complemented by architectural highlights such as the heritage-listed Moeller textile pavilion. Additional exhibition venues are currently being planned.

More than 25 partners from the premium retail sector and Cologne’s design scene bring interior design right into the heart of the city – from established furniture stores and creative pop-up concepts to inspiring showrooms and design hotspots. A wide range of formats invites visitors to discover design from new perspectives – curated and implemented by the partners themselves. Each presentation is created independently, shaped by the unique character and design approach of each location.
